What FTP program are you gay webmasters using?

I'm no techie but Filezilla always seemed to move slow as shit for me on big ass files. Moved to FTP Voyager and shit got faster, never timed out, always stayed connected to my server if I left it open, and allowed for multi-thread upload/downloads at the same time. Oh. And I use Cyberduck on my Mac.

FlashFXP for Windows // I also export all connection settings to a dropbox folder so I can always get to it.

Transmit for OSX

Anyone ever try FileZilla? I hear @ 1 point they represented some pretty big brands

i don't know where you heard that but it is false. don't spread (mis)information before confirming it. i'm running latest filezilla (3.5.3) and just checked. its stored plaintext.

That's funny since I just opened up the xml file in my Filezilla folder with Excel and it lists my user name, remote folder, local folder, ip, etc.

In the password column, all of the sites are in the format:
1.1507E+23

When I opened up the file using dreamweaver it showed: 015073010021041083014182

So as far as I can tell this isn't (mis)information.

That's just for obscuring the password, and was set on by default in v2.x.
The obfuscation was set to off by default in v3.

His response has always been: 'don't save passwords'.

Here's an old thread where he tries to explain why Filezilla doesn't even try to protect passwords:
