For Canadians, CIBC Aerogold Visa Infinite. Best for using your points to book first-class air travel.

For Americans, Plum AMEX which gives you like 2% cash back with no limit?
 
I have the 2 amex plum cards for business which is the 2% cash back and 1.5% cash back...just looking for a good one with rewards and points for personal use. Apparently this is a common thread so I'll check the search. My bad.
 
american express gold premium rewards if you want to rack up points. its 2x for gas/groceries, and 3x for airfare.

combine it with the platinum for airport lounges, hotel upgrades and discounts.
