Hey Fellas
I am new in this forums but not in IM, I was wondering if micro niche sites still working. I am going build few already bought 10 domains but need a wise opinion
Thanks:music07:

So long as there is the internet, there will be mom and pop "micro niche sites" flooding it left right and center. So no, the idea of the micro niche site isn't going away anytime soon.

The future is what you make it, however.

Don't put too much emphasis on creating "micro niche sites" because you heard they work from some guru on some blog someplace...

Make a goal, and achieve it!

What is your goal? In terms of traffic?

Microniches are fine. The problem is cookie cutter sites with no useful content. There are a zillion people throwing up quick "Xfactor" sites these days and a lot of them have no useful info, just gibberish plus Adsense. Those kind of microniche sites could be a problem. Write some real content and you should be fine.

well, thanks both of you guys. My plan is creating sites with more then 10 page, not like other crappy site with 5page :p I will use all 100% unique useful content. I bought few domain with exact search between 1.5k to 5k, I am not sure if that is a good count though!
another questing, once I rank for the keyword do I have to add new content or just the 10 or 15 page site good enough. let say I have 100 sites, now if I have to add content on each one then that would be nightmare :(

I think the trend is to move from Micro to midrange if you are planning to update. I am thinking 100 page and above with a mix of wide niche terms and micro niche and SEO each page. You might try a content farm if you have a team of writers.

Like the others hinted at, as long as your micro-niche site isn't overly thin in appearance, you're good to go. While I always make sure they have original, quality content, I also like to make them look like they have more substance than they actually do. By this I mean, adding some social bookmarking buttons and shit. A "follow me on twitter" graphic and even set up a Twitter account (even if you dont really use it). Even a "sign up for the newsletter" form gives the appearance that you're serious, plus you can build a list for email marketing down the road. Sprinkle in some relevant YouTube vids and be sure you've got Privacy Policy and T&C set up. All of this with proper keyword research, titles, on page SEO shit, and half decent link building should equal some respectable results.

I am really appreciated for your suggestion, yeah I would spend sometime on them to add social stuff etc. about the articles I hired a group people, who will provide some good quality articles, but before I post them on my site I would take a look ;) but the main question is do I have to add content once they are rank for certain keywords or just leave them alone :D

If you've bought the domains already, you might as well develop them. But make them at least 20 pages, make them good looking, add videos and images, make sure you link out to other sites (especially news articles that are applicable to the niche).

And your best quality articles need to be on the first page, so that if there is any visual inspection you rank.

P.S. always continue to add content to the sites from time to time.

If you can make it right way you will get profit form it. means Good design, niche there must be with in 20-30 pages add few video

Is there an echo in here?

The common misconception about micro niche sites is lots of pages = quality content.

They're not the same thing, I've seen sites with more than 10 pages that are nothing but scraped content.

I only do 1-2 pages of content nowadays, but they're 1-2 pages that will make Google cum, packed with real user reviews, youtube videos, link to authority sites and of course, written by native english speaker. (I'm talking UK and US).

p/s: I know Guerilla will murder me for this but DO NOT add your sites to Google Webmaster Tools, ever. ;)
