I just recently went through the "I need a new chair" process, MAN what a pain. You reallllly should go to a few stores and sit in them. I tested so many I lost count. I ended up going with one from Office Depot, and paid way more than I wanted but it was the only one that really felt comfortable for me knowing I would be sitting in the sucker for extended periods of time.
Again, you should go to the store and do the sit test. One reason I went with the above one is it has a large seat area. A lot of the ones I tested had small seats that my legs hung way over and there was no way I could even fold one leg up under me without it flopping down.
