I've always been interested in programming, but have never acted on it whatsoever other than requesting a book on HTML for Christmas when I was a kid and deciding I was too lazy to learn. What are the three most practical languages to learn for someone who wants to affiliate market. I realize a lot of people hire designers, but even so it seems like these guys have some programming knowledge, so they must need it.

English, the rest you can outsource.

My point is that if you're doing PPC & just learning the nuances of html you will fail because your shit will break on many browsers. That's fine while you're learning but not when you're paying for the traffic.

Skip html & go straight for php/mysql so you can do cool shit like scraping keywords, spamming links & automatically updating 202. All of this helps in affiliate marketing.

I say CSS. So you can rapidly test things (layouts, positioning, etc..) as you go without waiting for somebody to do it.

And then outsource all HTML so the job is done right?
