Soul Cycle is new to me. I'm halfway through their first album and have been pleasantly surprised. That said, their music is too rambunctious for background music; I'm getting zero work done.

Great instrumental music with soft lines and hard rhythms...

I'm halfway through the album. The writing has been pretty consistent.

I'm not a big fan of Labrie (if anything, he's the weak link of Dream Theater). But I'm definitely a fan of Marco Sfogli, his guitarist.

I listen to ALOT of diverse music because.... I got his thing in my head that I feel the need to do ;). But I gotta say that the sheer intuitive brilliance of this Mother fucker is hard... if Not impossible to match.
Keep in mind there's not even close to the studio sound level of help involved here that there is nowadays. Not to mention that he's playing with the hand he was dealt - his broothers who are Not even close to his level.
