What price should i give to an site with 50k visitors per month

what's the niche?

I find so much bullshit when I attempt to buy websites and domains. So many people want ridiculous prices, or they just want to hear the offer with no real intention of selling - I refuse to give people prices anymore.

Rather than wasting your time coming up with a price, that may be a million miles from their ballpark. Cut the shit, and just tell them to tell you what they'll sell it for.

The niche is a religion. Yeah i know there is a lot of bullshit when it comes to buying a site.

i asked them the price but they want that i come first with a price..

Do you have any advice with the price?

(sorry for my bad english)

I am in a business (financial) where blocks of business sell for about 2X annual income. For 6X monthly income you might as well keep the site. :)

Well 2x annual income would just be 24x monthly income, so not seeing your point, the numbers are the same. The difference between businesses and websites is generally the lifespan of a profit creating website is a lot shorter than a traditional business.

The multiplier isn't a special number, it's just the number of months of revenue to sell for

So couple of thoughts on that. if the website has a lot shorter profit cycle, less multiple.

2. The multiplier is what is used in most brokering situation. So although it might not be "special" it is definitely needed and is the standard.
