Lisa Loeb - Dance With The Angels. I used to dance my daughter to sleep to that song when she was a wee one.

But any of Lisa's old stuff rocks ... very folksy music but she has the greatest voice you've ever heard.

Okay, in all seriousness (why, I don't know) I'm normally a heavy metal / hard alternative guy but...

Gloria Estefan has always been a favorite of mine (Turn the Beat Around is currently on my iPhone), and Madonna's older stuff, although I recently downloaded Die Another Day. Also, Weird Al ranks up there. Dare to Be Stupid, anyone?
