When you frequently buy books, they start to take up a lot of space so I wanted to buy a tablet and begin buying the amazon kindle edition instead. Those of you who read books on tablets, which tablet do you use and how do you like it? I was thinking about getting the kindle fire HD. Thanks.

This Kindle - [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008GG93YE/ref=fs_sz"]This Kindle[/ame] Why?
1) It's dirt fucking cheap. I don't give a shit if I lose it, if it falls in water, or if somebody runs off with it.
2) It's light. The non-touch Kindle is lighter than the touch one which enables me to hold it one handed indefinitely.
3) Page turn buttons. Love 'em. Don't have to move my hands to turn the page. Swiping sucks.
4) Kindle email. Download book > convert book > email book to Kindle.
5) E-Ink. If you're going to be reading, do yourself a favor and get an e-ink screen. Way easier on the eyes, way lighter, better battery life, etc, etc.

I read an hour or two a day on my Nexus 7...I used to read on an original kindle, which was nice, but honestly, the Nexus is a better reading experience.

Nook. eink ftw. I read on my tablet from time to time, but eink is a much better experience.

The [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Kindle-Paperwhite-Touch-light/dp/B007OZNZG0"]Kindle Paperwhite - Touch Screen Ereader with Built-In Light[/ame] looks very nice.

Kindle for reading, iPad for light work, kindle fire for movies, and old iPad for occupying the kids

Kindle. I couldn't imagine doing any reading at length on an iPad. I read Art of War on a computer screen, and that was horrible, even though it's only like 100 pages and fairly easy to read.

I just read everything on my phone (droid razr maxx +sd card)

Small, but I'm used to it, and it goes everywhere in my pocket no hassles. I don't have near enough time to read anyways except in bed, so my biggest problem is falling asleep and losing it in the comforter, lol.

I've got the old version of this: [ame=http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004HZYA6E/ref=kindle_dp_comp]Kindle Keyboard 3G with Wi-Fi, 6" E Ink Display, 3G works globally[/ame]

I think it's a second gen Kindle. Love it.
