What time to do wake up in the morning?



For about the past 6 months, I get up between 7:30-9am.

When I was a personal trainer, I would get up between 3:30am-4:30am. First client was usually at 5:30am.
 
8:00 am, goal is 6:00am

Working late really fucks me up, "early bird gets the worm" FTW!
 
Usually something like this:

Friday: Wake up at 10am
Saturday: Wake up at 2pm
Sunday: Wake up at 6pm
Monday: Wake up at 10pm
Tuesday: Wake up at 1am
Wednesday: Wake up at 4am
Thursday: Wake up at 7am

I do exactly the same, it's always easy to stay up a couple of hours longer, but a pita to wake up a couple of hours earlier.
 
Today it was around 2 for me. How do you guys get up so early to work?

I am trying to fix my schedule to get up by 930-10 so I don't feel like a bum but the only motivation really is to not feel like a bum. So I just end up staying up late to work instead. I'm starting to just give in to it!
 
Ugg, weekdays I'm up at the crack of noon & in bed around 3am. Saturdays I get up around 5:00-5:30am. Slowly changing my schedule to wake up earlier.
 
Anywhere between 8am-noon all depends on when I hit the sack and how much sleep I got the night before. If I had to pick an average it would probably hover around 11 on most days though (roughly 4 am bed time).
 
7-8 hours after I go to sleep. Doesn't matter what time I go to bed.

Go to bed at 10pm, and I'm up at 6am. To bed at 2am, up at 10am. Don't bother with an alarm clock unless I have a meeting, conference call or trying to fish the sunrise.
 
For those of you with an overlong circadian cycle, get a light box.

I have a 24.5 hr cycle normally, and it was destroying me - light box has totally sorted it for me.

Litebook is the one I've got, but there are loads.

Really? Just using one of these for a few minutes each day?

Do you use it to wake up? Or do you still need the alarm to wake up and then use it soon afterwards?
