What to do with a flash developer?

So I have a flash guy, he's good at what he does, and he doesn't cost me much to keep on the books. I had a lot of work for him for the last year or so, but now I'm basically out of things for him to do. I don't want to get rid of him because it's hard to find good devs, and he is cheap, but he's technically losing me money right now.

So, what would you have him do to earn his keep until I need him again?

find clients who need flash banners
 
If he's any good at design also, or you have somebody else for that, Flash games can defo make you some serious $$$. If you get a good game, and approach some of the big sponsors, you can easily get $5k for maybe a fortnight developing a game. Might be worth looking into.

That is his current job for me, however I can't think of a single game he has made for me which has come anywhere near 2 weeks of development. When you average out the time taken and the sponsorship value, you find your dev is worth around $2K/mo at the most, which is pretty crumby.
 
If he is good as ActionScript3 developer only the sky is the limit.
You can plan to develop AIR or Flex applications, Facebook application.
Why not to try AS3 for mobile devices that support Flash (most devices with peace of mind of Steve Jobs).
AS3 developers (those ones really good) are the most requested today.
