Hello!

So, I've got a hard decision to make and I wanna hear your opinion guys.

I'm 22 years old currently living in an economically poor country in Europe(where I was born), I want to become a millionaire, a well-rounded man, I love to travel.

I am at a time of my life when I'm about to choose between:

A,
Moving to London alone and OWNING England, basing myself there for at least 5-10 years and KILLING it in sales and business. Focusing on mastering English ( later maybe Mandarin too ) and sales and business.

Pros: I think that if I choose this road because of the focus I have the highest chance of making a lot of money but I'm not sure about this.
Adventure, individuality (cause the other option involves a partner), freedom. London.

Cons: I would be totally alone in the beginning. It comes with the sacrifice of option B.

OR

B,
Moving to France to live and challenge ourselves with a friend of mine who is probably the most intelligent person I know. He is an international man, coming from South America. He speaks 7 languages, well read, has some business experience, plays music, etc.
He would teach me the languages he knows, teach me basically everything he knows and can teach me. We would do businesses together, he wants to be my business partner because he sees that I'm an ambitious person. In exchange for him teaching me his languages and other things I would support him mentally in reaching his goals.

Pros: Learning languages, becoming a well rounded person, learning about business, having lots of fun, travel, learning a lot, international business.

Cons: Scattered focus (which probably leads to smaller amount of wealth), being a 'partner' may not be my way (I'm an only child, not really a team player, but I'm flexible but I may be enough on the road without a partner), a bit lack of freedom ( cause of partnership )

I'm leaning towards option B.

I would like to know what you think about this issue.
Which one would you choose?

To summarise.....

Option A

Move to a country with a ridiculous unemployment rate and fight with 100s of graduates to obtain the few jobs available

Option B

Suck your friends dick so he can teach you the ways of sucking dick.

Which country do you suggest? If you think that UK sucks balls?

I don't see the point in learning many languages... it's hard to learn more than one language and actually become proficient in it. This is unless you were born in a bilingual household etc.

I think you should move to where you have the most potential to find a decent job...

Not to sound rude, but if you want to become a millionaire, why in the fuck would England or France enter into your mind? Might as well just move to Detroit.

I can agree with Canada. Move to West Vancouver, surround yourself with some grey hairs, and pick their minds as much as possible.

Either that, or Singapore. Another good place to surround yourself with grey hairs who are worth 10s and 100s of millions.

"economically poor country", that almost screams opportunity to me. That means there's massive room for growth, move to areas of growth and establish yourself in an industry while industry as a whole in that country is still in its infancy.

The UK and France are burnt out buddy we've been through the industrial revolution.

I hate my country. I want to move to a better place.

Why is Canada so good? What do you think about China?

What's the problem with London?

Yeah but China and Canada are in the same boat, everybody is jumping in the China gravy train and it's now competitive and expensive to get into. The idea of becoming wealthy is identifying opportunity before others do.

That's the way business works that's the way economies work that's the way the stock market works, the money is being able to identify the opportunity. Warren Buffet is a perfect example.

Do you have any advice on how to surround myself with grey hair and pick their minds?

Best way is to make them money. Come up with the excellent start-up ideas, launch them, and try to make them at least somewhat profitable. Then search out investors, mentors, and larger firms in the same industry, and convince them you can make them money if they go into it with you.

Sure, you give up a good chunk of your start-up, but if you're only making say $50k/month, who gives a shit when you're working closely with people who make $5mil a month. And there's loads of people who love to invest in good ideas & opportunities, and of course, they want to make sure their investment returns as much as possible, so will provide you with resources, contacts, support, etc.

Then there's loads of networking events in places like Vancouver. Went to a few technology ones before, and they were unfortunately totally useless, but hey, you never know.

Or maybe just lucky, and end up having a beer while sitting beside the right person. In places like West Van, millionaires are all over, so not difficult to meet. I've met some of the most interesting people in my life this way. Owners of mines up in the Yukon, semi-retired guy involved in hostile takeovers all of his life, who even told me about the economic collapse in the US about 6 months before it happened, etc.

Man, does this thread ever bring back some regrets from my past. Thanks! :P

:)

I am not a technology guy but what you're writing is very interesting man. Motivating. Thank you!

Vancouver seems like a cool place though the man who I view as my biggest inspiration is from there and he says that Vanc sucks. I don't know why though.

If you're trying to make it online, it's not going to get any better than the US.

Try NYC.

I don't care if I make it online. As I said I suck at technology and I hate it.
I'd love to move to US but the visa issues make it nearly impossible I believe.
