My back is killing me and I think it's time to finally get something a little more ergonomic then a $60 desk from Ikea.

I was looking at the BioMorph desks earlier today and while they look perfect, I can't bring myself to spend $2000 on a desk - there has be to something cheaper and better.

Has anyone tried them? Anyone know of a cheaper ergonomic setup?

Man, I know what you mean. I need a new desk (and probably chair too!) in the WORST way. 14+ hours at the computer is killing my back quickly. Especially since I have problems already from hs football and subsequent aggravations while in the military.

Thanks for alerting to BioMorph. Definitely going to check them out.

I am pretty happy with a good $300 chair and a ergorest mouse pad with wrist support. All on a cheap table that is a good height for me.

Read on websites for what is good ergonomics and make it from cheap stuff. Buy stuff that is the right height or alter it if you can.

You don't need a $2000 desk... just get one you can attach a $50 adjustable keyboard tray to, and put something under your monitor to raise it to the correct height.

Of course, you will need the ~$700 Aeron chair (see other thread). Your back requires it.
