What's the best remote desktop setup for my VA?

Need my VA to get on my office computer and do work.. Local IP for reasoning.. Don't want her to be signing into my accounts from a 3rd world country; nor do I want to give out our passwords, figure I'll login in for her..

Is there anything that's super light way and fast, considering there's a 99% chance my VA will have a poor internet connection?

Any ideas... Need something super simple, can pay monthly $$$, no issue if it works.

We use the free version of Teamviewer, the free version of Logmein is faster but if you like to be able to see what the person is doing on your PC (and you sound like the cautious type) Teamviewer allows you to see every move they make while Logmein doesn't. At least the free version doesn't.

I dunno brah, I honestly don't think 99% of WF could afford a 3rd world VA for $1.40 an hour (srs)

Why not just install a proxy/VPN on a small local VPS and get them to browse using that? That's what I've done in the past.

It will not work properly due to connection issues. Depending on what you need done, just break-up the task into mini bits of work. So called third world countries are not so stupid like most people think. They learn fast, and whatever tactics or process you teach them, it's gone forever.

Teamviewer or logmein, may sound secure, but unless you're physically watching every keystroke same security vulnerabilities do exist.

Just break up the job into little pieces and get a VPS for them to use.

Well, you can install software like Teamviewer, but the security of it is very questionable. For example, he could have installed some kind of keylogger moments before and get passwords after you log in.

If we're talking about a Filipino, just use Teamviewer. Filipinos are so trustworthy, it's just not in their DNA to try to screw you over. Now, if you're talking about an American, fire them and hire a Filipino.

I give them VPS to use and forget about it. Also install teamviewer on the vps and you watch what they are doing and show them things.
