I see a Mac vS PC thread, but nothing else on the search.

So what computer system you working with at home and give some details about it. Also, show us a pic of that workstation you have!

I know some of you have some wild setups..

I use a Linux system that I built myself, but it's not really that wild. I only have one monitor, for instance! But the fan glows blue, which...is kinda neat.
 
I'm too dumb to use a computer. Was gifted one 4 years ago but I'm making better use of it :thumbsup:

I built this computer a few years ago. I have a Pentium Dual 2.20 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 250 GB SATA hard drive, CD/DVD burner, 22 inch widescreen LCD, etc. Nothing special. Total cost at the time of about $800.
 
I sold my beast desktop recently and went to a temporary netbook. After realizing that the shittyness of a netbook wouldn't even suit my short term needs I bought a Gateway laptop for a hundred bucks off craigslist. It has a centrino duo proc and is pretty much complete shit.

Now, I'm on the craigslist hunt for a well priced macbook. Once I get one I'm gonna put an SSD in that bitch and grind in comfort.
 
I have an ASUS UL-80VT Notebook, a Dell XPS 1210 laptop and a Dell Mini 9.

My desktop is a custom built i7 960, 12 GB Corsair RAM (DDR3-1600 CL9-9-9-24 XMP Triple Channel), with a MSI GeForce GTX 570 video card. Drives are OCZ Vertex 2 SSD for the boot disk, and a 1 TB Western Digital Caviar Black SATA 3 second disk.

Mobo is a Gigabyte GUERRILLA G-1 Killer with Corsair AX 850 Watt PSU. Motherboard has Bigfoot Ethernet controller.

Case is a Corsair Obsidian 800D, which is the biggest and heaviest case I have ever owned. Also Corsair H70 Hydrocooling on the proc. No OC.

2 x ASUS 22" Flatscreens. Steelseries Kinzu Mice. Usually ASUS wireless headsets, but Falian turned me on to the Plantronics 995 Wireless and I like it so far.

Jacky, that's awesome! :) I bought a Dell XPS gaming computer a few years ago with Vista. After installing my two favorite games onto it and trying to play them I was pissed. Something with Punkbuster was preventing me from playing with the new operating system. I eventually quit trying to figure it out and bought an Xbox. It was a sad time.
 
Just got this x220 last month.

i5 2.5GHz with 5GB ram. All I use everyday, can't complaint really.
