want to get an amex though, plum seems pretty popular here, what do they check for to approve you?

they changed the cash back amount from 2% to 1.5% like a month or two ago...

It doesn't give you the benefit of merchant discounts, but the Schwab Visa gives you unlimited 2% cash back on everything. I use it for my personal spending, and I would get another for my business if I didn't already have the 2% Plum.
