This is fascinating, and at the same time terrifying. How long before someone is able to bypass this system and break into a house? Granted it can happen with a regular lock, too, but breaking into a house silently is much more dangerous than breaking into a house by force.

You need to know how to pick a lock, or bump a cylinder, and it isn't hard to do.
