What's your favorite IDE? (Eclipse, etc.)

Does anyone use Emacs? Looks a little too hardcore for me, but some people swear by it.

I learned emacs first, and loved it for like the first 2 weeks until I decided to "try other things". Haven't looked back, just use vim.

We should start a .bashrc and Vim Plugins thread; my console is pimped to hell and rather gangster, but I'm sure you motherfuckers know some dope .vba files, knowatimsayn?

On the vim note, anyone else use vim emulation for your browser? I use Vimium for chrome but there was vimperator for firefox too.

I'm mostly doing either HTML/CSS/JS, Python, PHP, C here and there, or just editing config files and doing text processing. vim and ipython split in 2 windows in GNU screen makes my life very easy. also just added Vrome from uplinked's post, which I'm already enjoying.

Eclipse for big projects and Notepad++ for small ones. Never liked Dreamweaver...

Moved from Dreamweaver to Eclipse/Aptana and have been using it for 2 weeks. I have to say I'm not really a fan. It's slow as shit and doesn't do anything that Dreamweaver doesn't, except for some annoying code completion. I think I am going to download DWCS5 which has some siiick new features, like recognizing includes even when they aren't in the immediate file.
