So yeah... That test is really negative about my personality type. (Kicks puppies, makes faces at children, unibomber?) Pretty much told me "fuck off bitch." hehehe

INTP. The world exists to be understood.

That result was from the last time I took this test because of a thread like this, at least a year ago. Out of curiosity I tried again today and on 3 different sites I came back INTJ. I've changed.

INTJ

INTJs apply (often ruthlessly) the criterion "Does it work?" to everything from their own research efforts to the prevailing social norms. This in turn produces an unusual independence of mind, freeing the INTJ from the constraints of authority, convention, or sentiment for its own sake ... INTJs are known as the "Systems Builders" of the types, perhaps in part because they possess the unusual trait of combining imagination and reliability. Whatever system an INTJ happens to be working on is for them the equivalent of a moral cause to an INFJ; both perfectionism and disregard for authority come into play. Personal relationships, particularly romantic ones, can be the INTJ's Achilles heel ... This happens in part because many INTJs do not readily grasp the social rituals ... Perhaps the most fundamental problem, however, is that INTJs really want people to make sense.

ISTP

Pretty much...
According to Myers-Briggs, ISTPs excel at analyzing situations to reach the heart of a problem so that they can swiftly implement a functional repair, making them ideally suited to the field of engineering. Naturally quiet people, they are interested in understanding how systems operate, focusing on efficient operation and structure. But contrary to their seemingly detached nature, ISTPs are often capable of humorously insightful observations about the world around them. ISTPs abhor waste (be it in time, effort, or resources) but are highly adaptable, making them open to new information and approaches. They enjoy exploring new things, and can become bored with repetitiveness and routine. They can also be closet daredevils who gravitate toward fast-moving or risky hobbies (such as bungee jumping, hang gliding, racing, motorcycling, and skydiving), recreational sports (such as downhill skiing, paintball, ice hockey, and scuba diving), and careers (such as aviation and firefighting).
ISTPs may sometimes seem to act without regard for procedures, directions, protocol, or even their own safety. But while their approach may seem haphazard, it is in fact based on a broad store of knowledge developed over time through action and keen observation. ISTPs enjoy self-sufficiency and take pride in developing their own solutions to problems.
ISTPs are content to let others live according to their own rules and preferences, as long as the favor is reciprocated. ISTPs endure reasonable impositions without complaint — but if their "territory" is encroached upon, eroded, or violated, their quiet, easy-going nature is quickly abandoned in favor of stubborn and staunch defense of what they view as rightfully theirs. It has been observed that a slogan that best describes this ISTP attitude is "Don't Tread On Me."
Keirsey description[edit]
According to Keirsey, Crafter Artisans are masters at using tools of every type—artistic, technological, martial. Although they are introverts, they are authoritarian in their interactions with others and can be forceful at influencing people. They focus on accomplishing tasks efficiently and skillfully.
To master the tool of their interest, ISTPs require a certain degree of seclusion in which to practice. The result is often a virtuosity that other types find difficult to match.[10]

I have a love/hate relationship with your ilk. A few of my closest friends are INFPs, and they have the most hilariously fucked up humor. I love it. Also, a great imagination. If I had to assemble a team of writers for a comedy show, 70% of them would be INFPs.

However, it kills me that my INFP homies are all such pushovers! Always getting whipped in relationships, walked over, manipulated, etc... It's like, "DUDE! Grow a backbone!"

Plus, they never listen to good advice. They have this stubborn inner-compass that is solely fueled by emotion and idealism and I see them repeat the same mistakes again, and again, and again... (I hate seeing people I care about repeating mistakes that are easily avoidable. It frustrates me).

Am I somewhat close? Or am I just being an asshole? lol

ISFP - "Artist". Interested in the fine arts. Expression primarily through action or art form. The senses are keener than in other types. 8.8% of total population.

Apparently I am an artist. Well I do good stick figure drawings so I guess this is 100% accurate ;)

moi aussi. INTJ.

Maybe you're right, but I'd rather say INFPs usually get what they need by creating extra drama and channeling emotions of others. The MBIT does not describe the personlaity 100% you know, each person can have deviations.

I've scored as an INFP ages ago but when I retook the test yesterday I got an INTJ :) The type may fluctuate throughout life and that's OK. There's also the aspect of willpower and circumstances for people to change their motivations.
