Yup you definetly gotta fix that.
I have a notebook and new desktop I received last week. I'll run down the Specs:
Notebook:
15.4" Frame from
Custom Laptops by PowerNotebooks.com™ - Discount Custom Notebooks & Cheap Laptop Computers (an excellent dealer)
2.16 GHz T2600 Dual Core
nVidia GeForce Go 7600 256 MB
2GB Ram
250 GB 5400 RPM Hard drive (the stock 100 GB 7200 RPM HD burned out and Thailand doesn't carry 7200 RPM hard drives because apparently, they said Thailand is too hot for them ...ridiculous)
Windows XP 32-Bit
Then my new Desktop:
HP Elite m9180f Series
Intel Quad Core Q6700 @ 2.66 GHz
nVidia 7800 GT 512MB
4 GB Ram
1 TB Disk Space (2 - 500 GB 7200 RPM Hard drives)
All the bells and whistles like Wireless, TV Tuner, HD inputs/outputs
Windows Vista Ultimate 64-Bit (Just because the drivers for XP haven't been released yet.)
External Monitors
Samsung 22" SyncMaster2232GW
JVC 32" LCD TV (lol)
Speakers:
Logitech X-540 5.1 Dolby Digital Speakers (5 satellites and one Bass... its fucking loud).
The desktop is awesome for games. Plays Crysis on High without much stuttering until the later levels. Thinking about putting in a second video card to get rid of that problem. I'll probably throw in another 4 gb of ram to get that taken care of, too.
Notebook is used for chatting and email. Great way to break up distractions when I need to get work done.
