hey brahs need your help once more. Im in a Limited tight budget of around 250-300 monthly and I would need to get atleast 20k-30k words out every month. The article must be as perfect as it can be for the first 10k. I will separate them into chunks like the 10k is 10 articles for my site, others are for backlinks, Socials etc.

Im looking at needanarticle. Any experience from these guys? or any other companies you are using?
Thanks brahs

I don't use companies. I hire people directly that I have found on forums and keep giving work to the ones that I like working with the best.

I use real people, (at least I hope they are real people) on oDesk and Elance. I have been paying $10/piece of 800-1500 words. That might not be the most cost-effective source to meet your needs.

If you want great content for a shit budget, you're going to have to rely on finding people who don't know what they're worth and that's a pretty bad long-term strategy. You'll spend a lot of time hiring and training new people who won't stick around.. Having said that, $10/1000 words isn't crazy for people on oDesk if you're willing to put in a bit of work hiring them. There's a lot of Americans willing to write for India wages lately it seems. Time to insource, bros.

thanks for the replies brahs,

Anyways finding a person to do the work is not really beneficial for me. We have lots of things to do rather than to deal adn train etc etc. Anyways if that budget is not that great we can lower the number to atleast 10k words for $200? Can we go with that?

Thanks a lot bros

Talk to me about insourcing. It seems like my time is better spent doing it myself. How can I be sure. Do you crunch the numbers or use a formula to determine the best course of action?

You need to know exactly what you want. Plan out your content and perhaps even do some light content research so you know what he/she is going to write about. Make sure to get an expert on the topic, state that as an requirement while hiring on freelancer sites. Appreciate those writers who take a great effort in replying to your job offering, discard the "i can do this work" type replies. For your budget, i would look out for newbies who need to build a reputation. Always be supportive and help them along the way....

Or just bite the bullet and pay 4 cents per word.

PS: Even if you believe your content is "good" - it probably isn't.

PPS: 20$/1000 words is a good starting point to get "acceptable" quality. But don't expect magazine quality, im talking content good enough so it won't hurt your site. Occasionally you will get lucky and get stellar pieces, but don't count on it.

And I thought $5 per 500 word is the 'site' type.

Pheasant tried and rejected, good guy actually and an honest one. The very first writer who offered a free sample of 1k words written for the site but rejects cause its not profitable with the time spent. A few more providers here and via PM's just wants me to send money on their paypal without me seeing the effort, no samples, no shit cared for and some not even asking questions. Just send me $200 here etc etc and the types.

I am trying iwriters at this point, at $18 per 1k words at elite. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I can get upto a budget of $20 per 1k x10 on a monthly basis.

I would stay away from iwriter for quality. You can't select the writer beforehand and you can't trust the rating system. Try elance with a well written gig description and a decent budget. When it comes to content quality, it is very easy to get fooled. Yes, you will get good grammar and spelling for 15$/1k words. But only occasionally exceptional content. Good writers usually don't even apply for rates under 2 cents/word and for good reason. That being said, i had amazin ESL Writers for 1 cents - grammar and spelling wasn't perfect, but the content was original, very engaging and fun to read. It's very easy to find a native speaker for 1,5-2 cents/words who writes OK content ...but really amazing content? Only if he/she is emotionally invested in the topic.

I've tried so many content services and also thought that quality starts at 1 cent/word...well, no. For filler stuff, you can go that low sure...

I've been using https://ineedarticles.com/ they do rewrites too pretty cheap.

Yeah well...take a look at their content samples

If you're having trouble finding ways to exercise to lose weight then you need to find something that can teach you what to do. You may have some luck by going to the library and looking for books on the subject. If they don't have anything about it then you can ask the librarian to order a book for you.

Pure and utter trash.

I get surprisingly good quality from iWriter (maybe because my shit is so niched no one can really scrape and spin)

Another method for getting good results is to be very specific e.g structure the article beforehand so they can't really use a random article found on the net. Just giving a random iwriter keywords to write around is like :eek7:

Alright, this kind of stuff might be ok for Tier 1 but i won't put this crap on my moneysites anymore.

I've invested a ton in iWriter and as everyone here points out, quality is often weak. However, over time I have built a list of decent writers and you can send direct invites to them for new articles.

I've had more success sourcing quality articles from ODesk. Still working on building up the stable there.

I just go to elance.com and hire people who are in the "field" of my niche that I'm working in. I put it in the ad on elance.com that they have to be US or Canadian and work or have experience in my niche. I hire about 8~10 of the people that apply for the writing assignment. So, I'm spending $100 or so to test out the writers I've found and then hire 1~2 of them to write all my content for the site and usually pay them $2.0/100 words with articles being around 700~1,000 words each. So I'm usually in a site for about $1,500~$2,000 in content.

You're wasting your time screwing around trying to get content cheap. You'll usually end up with crap content which will effect your conversion rates and increase your bounce rates.

Does anyone know of more sites like ConstantContent that let you search through (and buy the rights to) articles that have already been written?

Couldn't agree more, you are spot on.
