Sorry if this is a bit noobyish, but I tried the obvious registrars and they want you to use your credit card through paypal, not just your paypal balance.

If someone knows of a relatively cheap (eg. not $25 for a .com) registrar where I can use my paypal balance to purchase with that would be great.

namecheap.com ... you can transfer funds from your paypal to your namecheap account and then use it to buy domains... you also get free whois

dynadot.com, rates are good and if you buy at a certain volume you get bulk rates
interface is super easy to use too.

Just used Namecheap.

Pros: Excellent controls for all of you domains, great control panel, good offers, easy to use

Only con is that bulk deals aren't too great

Thanks for the recomendation, I'll definitley stick with them. Godaddy has good prices, but their website is ridiculously annoying.

There are too much crappy ads but still use Godaddy. Namecheap is good bit pricey than Godaddy.

may be a little late but I think most domain registration service, at least all the ones I've ever used, take Paypal.

I recommend Namecheap.com first and Godaddy.com second.

Not really. Add in privacy protection and GoDaddy is like $14 for a domain. Namecheap is $8.81 with privacy on new domains.
