Where is the best place to stay for IM?

Anybody lived in South Korea yet? Just checked a few appartments in Seoul and they're pretty cheap. Looks like you can get a nice cozy appartment near downtown for like 50-60 bucks a day. Education is pretty good, so language barriers should be low and the medical treatment is top notch.

Looks like a nice place to stay a few months. Any first hand experiences?

I have no interest in bashing each others opinions but in my point of view Kreutzberg is definitively not one of the cities I'd like to live in. Why? I don't like that multicultural shit and I don't like to worry about my car being scratched or getting ripped off in the subway. Been there, experienced that (had to stay there for a few days).

At the end of the day it all comes down to personal preference. I'm pretty sure that most people will choose Munich over Berlin.

Source?

Munich does have amazing public transport and Oktoberfest, but other than that it has to be one of the most boring cities in Europe (right up there with Vienna). Also, Berlin is on a couple of lists as being one of the most liveable cities in the world. Cost of Living This is a great tool to get an idea of living costs, property prices, etc. before moving somewhere.

These two links are much better for finding about cost of living and quality of living in a particular city.

Yes and Philippines is the world's most emotional country. :1orglaugh::(:angryfire::laughing-smiley-007 :love-smiley-086:

Anywayz, I may sound biased but i think Philippines can also be a great place to stay.. Aside from the great places here, the cost of living is more affordable than any other countries. :)

The Philipines is hardcore third world, but if you can live with that it's a great place to stay.

Interesting to get people's views here. Definitely added a few places to travel destinations.

Been thinking about SE Asia next year when the weather picks up.

Just the sliding scale of criteria, no one actually wants to live and work in the English speaking world except for San Diego. lol

On the one hand, you have guys who want to live really well on $2k a month, you have other guys who want a commercial society like in Singapore or HK.

-48C in Calgary sometimes. Now that my friend, is very nipply.

It won't get worse than -15C where I am.

HK is more then just a commercial society don't feel bad because ppl are not mentioning the country you live in or find to be the best . don't get me wrong prince Edward island is great .
Hong Kong has really low taxes, great legal and banking infrastructure to protect your assets , and no taxes on real estate.

so for some of us yes HK is attractive

if any society was commercial I would say the USA wins hands down with also consumerism

+1 for Korea. You got the SNSD fever, brah? I'm going to live there (Korea + Japan + Hong Kong combo), I'll help you know how it goes. I need to get myself an average Korean girlfriend.

Picture related, an average Korean girl.

The Kpop entertainment industry wants us to think that the average Korean girl looks like this:

When in actuality, they look like this:

I lived there for a while. Most traffic/subway signs are printed in English, so getting around is pretty easy. However, don't expect the average Korean that you bump into to be able to speak English. They are taught in school but not to a level that really lets them communicate unless they spend a ton of extra time on it. I lived in Seoul though if I were going to live there again, I'd probably go with Busan. Seoul just starts to seem like endless identical blocks of apartments after a while.

Also with apartments, be sure you read the fine print and know what exactly you're signing up for. SK rentals usually work on a "key money" system, where you put down a massive deposit, and your rent scales down as your deposit scales up. If you can put down a big enough deposit, you can actually live rent free (though the lost interest/return on your deposit would be enough to make up for it).

Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the only two emirates of UAE. Abu Dhabi is the second most expensive city and Dubai is the 22nd most expensive city in the world.

Can you even drink there. No thank you.

Dubai is a fucking bubble. Nobody will vacation there.

If I was single. My vote would be Miami (see the avatar) if you got money its a dream. I dont need to go to Asia to get pussy.
