Where to submit/promot a new affiliate program?

Hi,

havent been here in a while - I never expected WF to get this big when it just started out and I was doing a competition to get as many referrals as possible. Guess that worked out ok.

Anyways I just created my first affiliate program:
Premium Drupal Themes Affiliate Program | High Payouts! | SooperThemes
And I have no idea how and where to promote it. So guys, where do you hang out to find good deals, new programs etc. Are there some directories or blogs that are important in informing you guys about new affiliate programs?

Also, my affiliate software has some cool features but nothing too advanced, it only has links and product links that contain an affiliate id. I think I remember reading about affiliate programs that allow for SEO friendly urls, like without adding crap to the link, just a link pointing tp Premium Drupal Themes Templates | SooperThemes. Does anyone here know how to implement that?

btw I didnt mean for my links to look so spammy, it just looks like that because I stuff my page titles with keywords and this vBulletin scrapes the page title tag.
 
Directly contact those in your space. Scrape the top 100 sites for your top 100 keywords and start from there. Response rate won't be great, but it will be better than getting 1000 cj affiliates that will sign up for your program yet never send you any traffic.

Sometimes you'll even need to send them some cash first to get a really good affiliate as you don't have a history yet for affs to go on.
 
thx. I emailed a few hundred clients to begin with. its not a bad idea to google some sites that write about drupal themes, that makes sense. Do you know a good program that does this automatically?
I recently used web data extractor to help me find email addresses of websites but its flaky.

did you read the post? Im trying to promot my affiliate program... to promot my products.
