As opposed to as an affiliate.

I'm the most concerned about the quality of leads.

I don't want to be targeted by shabby affiliates with spyware/adware/malware/incentivized/3rd world fraud.... etc. Although, at the same time a large affiliate base would be nice.

My program is a premium sms service (not horoscopes, fortune telling, chat, or any crap like that) with a price point of $9.99 per month. I'm concerned the most with quality of leads as cell phone carriers don't take too kindly to customer complaints coming from 3rd party sms programs.

I will be paying $2.50-$3.00 per confirmed phone # submit (requires double opt-in)

Which network do you believe would be the most receptive of this type of program?

What type of results can I reasonably expect? (I will be trying to tweak the program to the likening of the affiliates as much as possible)

All that is required for a lead is for the user to submit cell phone number, then enter pin number that is sent to their phone. I thought $2.50-$3.00 wouldn't be to shabby for that, but PLEASE tell me if I'm mistaken.

Hello friend,

Why you think people promote your cell offer for $3 when other cell offer pay $10 or more?

That $10 is after affiliate network take 20-40% themselve. So your $3 offer well become $2 or less for affiliates. At that rate I no think much people want promote. They can already get $1.50 for email and zip submit offers.

Good luck bro

Can you please show me the other offers that are paying $10. (I believe you)

I thought that 30-40% would be coming out of my pocket not the affiliates'.

Thanks for the input!

Look up ANY SMS/ringtone offer and they will be paying at the very least $6-$7, and yes there are a number that pay $10 or more. If you haven't done this basic research then you're definitely not ready to be an advertiser.

Hello friend,

Glamtones, pure crush, fun mobile, jamster are just some of many that pay at around $10 or more. I surprise you not know.

Or maybe you no talk about America cell numbers. For some country like Brazil then you can get lead for $3.

Good luck bro.

Thanks sumi,

I think my problem is I have been specifically searching for text based subscription aff programs. As these will be my competitors (from the users perspective) instead of ringtone offers and the like(which are my competitors from the aff standpoint). Missed the elephant in the room, lol.

Anyway, yeah OK so I'll offer like $10. (after I've determined that user retention is at least 3 months... )

OK, so now that my offer is more attractive.... which networks would be the best? Hydra?

Yes, rape me.... but only if that means your giving me useful information.

Hannah,

I'm not too lazy to use Google.

Problem was I was looking for the wrong thing. It seems like most of the mobile aff programs are ringtone related. I've been searching for sms subscription aff programs.

Glamtones, Jamster, Streettunes, thumbplay etc. all ringtones.... my offer.... not ringtones..... but I realize it doesn't matter and I need to match the commission they are paying out if I want to compete.

Besides most of the useful information is stored in the aff networks database hidden away from someone like me who is no longer a member of any of the major networks. So asking people like you is perfect. :)

Thanks for the input!

climed,

That's great, thanks. Found my #1 competitor at the top of the list with my first search. Perfect.

Funny.... My #1 competitor is offering $1.00 payouts... So, I wasn't too far off when initially setting the commission at $3.00. Albeit, he can't be getting shit for that.

thanks climed

@OP: Good luck with those payouts...

Have you thought of a revshare % for the subscriptions to produce residuals?

Sometimes you can get higher quality from low initial, but residual income (Plus that would weed out junk subscriptions).

since were on the topic of advertising does anyone know which online credit card processor is the best for the $1 now $39.95 in 15 days?
