While I'm asking about scripts... Affiliate Theme

Affiliate Theme seems to offer a lot of great looking landing pages but will they convert? Does it provide the functionality I really need to make ladning pages in WP or is it just a waste of my time?

Should I just be looking to hire someone to convert my existing landers which actually convert to wordpress compatible for easier deployment?

Anyone tried this out? What do they think? Alternatives? Suggestions? I'm just looking to speed up the actual LP development process and wordpress seems ideal.

I'd suggest reading this tut: Build a Newspaper Theme With WP_Query and the 960 CSS Framework - Nettuts+

Take the concepts from that tutorial and apply it to making page templates. Then you can put it in your WP install, make a new page, change the template to the one you created, and deploy away.

I've done this on a few sites and it does make things quicker. Just remember when designing that you may have different looks to future pages, so don't make your design too specific.

In my experience... design is not such as big of a deal as my seo efforts. Just make it look good.

Actually, just buy WP Smart Tools. It comes with enough themes that you don't even really need AffiliateTheme, but its compatible with Affiliate Theme and any other WordPress theme.
