I don't know if Capital One has a retail banking presence in the Houston area but up here in DFW/Plano area they were offering free business checking.
I believe they were even open on weekends too.

I use Wells Fargo, primarily because they're everywhere out here and i can access my business account in the same interface as my personal accounts.

Chase - in the end it's good to deal with a bank that actually has money. Even though they have pulled a few d*ck moves on me in the past they offer alot of good services. And if you want business credit it's about the only place you will get it.

What kind of incoming wire fees do they charge at Chase?

The Paradox of Choice: Why More Is Less - By Barry Shwartz

A maximizer is someone that would compare absolutely everything he could before making what was intended to be the “perfect” choice. The satisificer is someone who makes quick choices fairly easily and is pretty happy with them.

Bank of America - End of Thread.

Bank of America's been pretty good to me, all incoming wire fees waived and outgoing domestic wires set at $14.95. Good mobile banking on a blackberry, easy ass online interface with personal and biz accounts, and they have branches literally on every corner down here in FL.

Their only fallback has been new faces at my local branch, I'd rather stick to one banker.

I use Lloyds in the UK, some nice business suites where you can go talk to anyone you need to and have a coffee :P . Also 18 months free banking + online banking is a must.

I really like Schwab. They have really competitive money market and bond sweep account rates (business and personal) and don't charge any fees except for outgoing wires.

I tend to use locally based banks... I've been with Bank Midwest for almost ten years now, mainly because they are opened 7-days a week until 7pm every night. Free checking and free incoming wires.

Wells Fargo. One of the few banks that actually made money last year (4th quarter was only in the red because of buying Wachovia). That and my fiance works for them.
