This 100%. You can be a physically unattractive guy and still do very very well if your head`s in the right place. But not if you`re a whiny bitch who feels victimized by his looks.
Only applies to men. Ugly men can still work their way up to get at least a decent well paying job or have their own business.
Ugly women, no matter how rich they are, will not be able to sustain men for a long run.
Load of shit, I've met plenty of highly successful, butt ugly dykes. As long as they aren't fat, ugly women have the advantage that they can hang out "like one of the guys", which gets them into situations that 99% of attractive women would never be invited to.
This is not entirely true. Some of the longest, happiest marriages I've been around involved ugly women. Looks attract men, but they don't keep them for the long run. Being patient, creating a comfortable home, embracing shared traditions, working on the relationship, being positive, treating the relationship as a partnership, etc...that stuff factors in much more heavily, especially as you get older and different things matter more.
That said, I still think being an ugly woman would be WAY worse than being an ugly man. Study after study shows that women are judged more harshly (by pretty much everyone) for being unattractive. Also, ugly men have the option of making more money to attract the opposite sex. Very, VERY few women are bothered by their man out-earning them. It doesn't work nearly as well for women to earn more, since a surprisingly large number of men are bothered by women making more money than them.
You can have your cake and eat it too - a beautiful woman with feminine virtues. Walking around with a ugly wife is embarassing.
Well of course...but there are only so many attractive women to go around, and a lot of them never develop solid relationship/household skills because it's so easy to get by on looks (or because they feel a sense of entitlement). Math dictates that some guys aren't going to get the "whole package" kind of girl.

Agreed but feminine virtues can be trained.
Of course, because on a bell curve, there's beta males, dregs and obese WoWer who will settle for their counterparts. (The classic hambeast is a good example)
However, for a striving Alpha male, the "complete package" is obtainable.

Show me a 2/10 woman with a 10/10 man. Probably never happens. But if it did, even if a woman were to have $1xxxxxxxx bankroll, which again is very unlikely, check out any rich list and find any woman with billions who made it without any inheritance or help. Very few.
And even if by some sort of miracle the ugly woman scores a decent looking guy, that guy is 100% fucking around. That or the guy has a weird fetish, and in that case you would need all the above to line up. Where as a ugly dude can literally buy a shiny thing on wheels and a (shallow) woman would be at least intrigued.
