I'm 18. In June I averaged $0.16 a day. Nissan GTR and country club mansion here I come!

I'm still in high school and make a fair big splash during the summer while I set up residual income for the school year. It's a big pain in the ass though, because I go to one of those elitist boarding schools and have school 8-6, shit until 8, 4-5 hours of homework, the internet shuts off at 11, and I still need to lead a social life.

Dude that sucks. How old are you?

I'm in high school. ;) I don't care either way though, because I'm getting a really good education and will most likely go to a very good college. I'll continue AM there to pay for some tuition/vacations, but I don't plan on going full time. I'd rather work on Wall St in mergers/acquisitions or something.

Just a friendly word of advice, but get that notion out of your head quick, man. Unless you're a masochist who enjoys 120 hours a week of getting screamed at and being a fucking Powerpoint & spreadsheet monkey, that is.

Long hours are one thing, but combine that with truly brain-dead boring work for idiot clients and 10 different bosses who relish making you suffer and it's a pretty raw deal.

I did management consulting on Wall St before, and that was bad enough. I can't even imagine being one of the junior bankers. The money might be pretty good, though not amazing, but they are all miserable fucks. I have a lot of friends who did it, and they couldn't get out fast enough.

Having your own business, online or off, has more upside (downside too, but that's the nature of risk), and at least the lifestyle demands are mostly self-imposed.

Yeah that's a good point. But it's damn sure a great place to get very valuable business connections for the future. Work there for 5-10 years, get a lot of happy (rich) clients, tell all of them you're leaving the company to start your own hedge fund with some other of their favorite partners, and BANG you got yourself a cash cow. ;)

I don't mind long hours and working hard. I already do quite a bit of that. As for all the assholes, eh...New York is New York. Just get a nice Puerto Rican girlfriend to go home to every night and you're all set. :P

I've just always liked the stock market and investing. I think in a job like that, being able to travel all over the world, have fun shmoozing your clients, the long hours are worth it. You can also consider those long hours in the beginning of your career an investment that pays dividends later on in life. I'm more concerned with having a solid and flexible long term income, which is why affiliate marketing does't appeal to me. Who knows, maybe I'll end up starting some business online, but being on the affiliate end of things seems too risky a business to build my life around.

My 2c

Don't let the rust fool you, she can really GO!

well, I'm 17 and i pull in about $20-30 a day
i know it's sad, but everyone starts small;-)

I'm 17 and just starting out...finally seeing some success. If I can make $200-$400 a day, anyone can. And since a few people are talking about cars...I'm hoping to get an Evo X next summer and do quite a few engine/turbo/trans mods

I bought the Lancer GTS. I love it.

Yeah, because the best thing to spend extra money on when you're 17 is pimping out a car. See what you think of that when you're 45. :error:

Ick. That's exactly why I don't like Mercedes. M3 = Drivers Car.

IMO, Cockpit > Pillows. I'd rather feel the bumps of the road in an m3 than drive around in a slushy mercedes.

Anyway I don't belong in this thread, I'm 26 and live.... very comfortably. Speaking of cars, just got this for wife + kids:

Minivans FTW

Meh, never liked BMW's. I like how they look on the outsite (6 seires in particular), but interior is crap.

And talking about cockpits... the only real cockpit out there is Corvette Z06.

19 and about 50 bucks a day. But it's all back into my pocket, I don't spend a dime except for hosting. Aiming for 200-300 a day then I will focus on other things. Internet moneyz is just for the short term.

You are most wise for someone who goes to high school. Unless you're one of those older kids at school or something.

lol, no. But I've just seen enough people get fucked with money, and enough people have a LOT of money that I can kind of put two and two together.

I'm 17 and I make about $1 a day from adsense, but with free lance work it can be about $100-150
