I am planning on getting a vasectomy.
I have no special affection for my genotype. An adopted child would be as dear to me as my own.

I didn't have kids until I was 36. When I was 26 I sure as hell didn't want kids, at least not at that age. As you grow older & wiser your thought process changes, so limiting your options at 24 is plain ass ignorant. But it's your life. Do as you please.
