I've been prescribed them, haven't taken em in a while ... but i have a pretty hard time focusing for longer than like 5 minutes. So who here takes em every day to get work done?

I take it occasionally. I don't take it daily. I only use it when I need to focus on a project and will be at the computer for an extended period of time.

what happens when you build enough tolerance that adderall doesn't work anymore and you've grown dependent on it? you're fucked. great idea to take adderall to get shit done...
how hard is it to get prescribed to? do you have to walk in there acting like you can't sit still or do you just say yo doc i can't concentrate?

Two stories on how my friends got a scrip.
#1.) Comes in, acts completely normal, trying his best to appear that he doesn't really need Adderall, and just nonchalantly mention to them that he had trouble concentrating, and it was messing with his productivity. Told him he might have adult onset ADD based on commercials he's seen.
#2.) Ballsy approach. Comes in and acts slightly twitchy and weird. Tells the doc that he was diagnosed by the family doctor when he was still young, but his parents didn't want him on any medicine. He said he experimented with Adderall and that it really helped with a lot of his problems. Told them if he doesn't prescribe them he'll just get it from his dealer anyway, but that he'd rather solve his problem professionally.
Be creative and Adderall may just be yours.
