Who Uses Safari?

I was a FF guy, but like others have said, it got too slow and crashed quite a bit. So I went to Chrome which I loved for a long time, but then one of the updates makes it so it crashes any time I open a half dozen or so tabs. I tried deleting it and reinstalling it, but it didn't help at all. So I was forced to Safari. While I miss some features of FF/Chrome, I've figured out how to make it work and it does fine. I use an iPhone and iPad so iCloud iTab iSync iIs iPretty iCool.

Went from FF > Chrome on my PCs.
Safari on the iMac still - haven't tried Chrome on it yet, would imagine it's the same as PC.

Best thing about Chrome - the Incognito Browser

Still using mommy and daddy's computer to surf porn huh?

FF really blows on a regular hard drive. Takes FOREVER to open up, just hangs my computer for 30 seconds.
On my MacBook Pro I have a SSD & 16gb or ram and it opens up instantly. I also have a windows laptop with an SSF and it opens up great. All my other PC's with mechanical drives, it blows.

SSD's are the single best upgrade you could ever do for you computer.

what do you hate about it?

Google.

I'm extremely uneasy about Google getting yet more into. Their browser isn't good enough for me to dripfeed everything I do in exchange for something Chromium and Iron do without the Google direct line.

I haven't uses Safari on Windows, but Safari sucks ass on the Mac OS X. It seems great initially, but then it gradually gets slower and slower until it eventually grinds to a halt. Plus the whole "reload every window because one has stalled" thing gets old really quick.

Look up SRWare Iron. It's Google Chrome with everything Google ripped out of it, which means it's not reporting anything back to Google.

(Chromium is open-source, which is what makes this possible.)
