I've met very few Australians in Australia who give a fuck. Cricket is an excuse to get away from your wife/gf/whore and have a few beers - much like baseball is in the states. If you take cricket seriously, you're an idiot (yes, I know I'm calling an entire nation idiots, but you can't even operate a fucking car properly).

As for the cricket itself, I don't care who wins as long as it is competitive and not one sided.

Tendulkar is fun to watch when he is form, so I hope he is. :)

We only don't give a fuck because India is going to steam roll us. Australians are worse than Americans when it comes to National pride, even when we have 'world' news it's always "200,000 dead in hurricane, OH MY GOD AND THREE AUSTRALIAN DOGS WERE ALSO INJURED IN THE HURRICANE."

It's going to be an Indian whitewash and Pointing will get the boot for good.

There can't be another sachin in cricketing world.
Yes the way Pointing handled the 2011 world cup was amazing can give kudos to that:D.

Hehe but in the states, you wouldn't even hear about the hurricane unless it hit the whitehouse, or you were less than two states away from it.
 
Cricket has become a religion in countries like India. Oddly, it has never blessed anyone.
 
Groan.....cricket. How anybody can sit and watch a five day test match is beyond me. The one dayers sure, the 20/20 maybe but bugger the tests.

^^^^Indians accepted once they got all wrong from third umpire reviews in last india-australia series.Even technology is failled so many times in last series..many LBWs, many catches were given not out...
 
India has chances to Win .. but if Australia will get back in its form then yes i would say Aussie are the World Champions for 3 times ..
