I'll be there, already have everything set besides my pass. I wanted to bring my brother but I'm not paying $349 for his pass. Will there be free passes like everyone got at ASE or maybe not? I see these affiliate links for ASE/ASW on WF so I'm guessing that means no free passes are coming?
I might just have to say fuck it and bring him to the AVN awards for $107. I think he would enjoy that more...heheh.

I'm stuck on the fence whether to attend or not, maybe some of the seasoned conferencers can give me a pointer or two.
At what point would it be good to go to a conference like ASW; I've been doing AM for about 5 years but only incorporated and started full time within the past 6 months. It has really been a great 6 months with $10k or more in profits every month BUT I'm not sure whether the $2 or $3k ASW weekend would be more beneficial than sinking the money into testing new campaigns. Could the info I take home be more valuable?
I guess I'm just asking -- is it worth the time and money aside from enjoying the bad ass vegas parties.

It would be it will change your perspective on the industry if you've never been to a show. It's worth a lot more then it costs. Consider it education.
Well, there will definitely be plenty of people there on tuesday night still. Thing is, though, you're in vegas and there is ALWAYS something to do. Last year I ended up staying 3 extra days just for the fuck of it and it was great.
I hit up Adtech one month into starting in this game. I think I talked to every single company at the entire show and learned what they did. Now two months in I have surpassed your current level that took you 5 years to reach. I will be at ASW because I consider the networking to be invaluable. I highly recommend anyone no matter how new to take advantage of these opertunities. And there is no need really to attend the lectures as they are recorded and can be downloaded from the site sometime after the event.

So screw the speakers and forums? Is it worth just bouncing around the booths? Thats seems like the biggest waste of time..I dont give a shit about hot ass, free tshirts and other swag..IM there to meet and network ...
It's about networking. Networking happens in the booths and bars. No reason other then that to be there.
