Why do people always hate on clickbank?

Hello friend,

There some good product clickbank that can make you lot money. But there also lot that scum product and no worth time promote.

I think some best product are product with subscription fee every month and pay you commision every month for subscription.

That way even if stop promote will continue make thousands every month automatic.

Good luck bro

If you're running adwords just be cautious with what you're running on CB. In fact, it's being rumored now that since there is so much shit on CB, that slaps are happening even on legit products because the processor is the same more or less. A shit funnel basically.

I might be totally wrong about that, and if not it just applies to adwords.

Another thing from the merchant side in regards to Clickbank. A few merchants I know have been noticing that lot's of affiliates haven't been getting credit for sales that were going through. If that type of thing happens too much, affiliates will stop promoting obviously.

We're releasing a product outside of the MMO vertical soon that I'll be testing with and without CB as the processor. My funnel outside of CB will have 1 click upsells and such, but it'll be interesting to see conversion and affiliate stats between the 2.

Yep, lot of times actual URL return some other affiliate cookie somehow. Simply they shouldn't visit actual URL of site, cause last cookie wins:) or first lol. Just test all to order form to see who is last affiliate:)

The recent problem it's that clickbank.com was not recognised as payment processor itself and while it in guidelines (you can look recent adwords update about bridge pages) actual sales page before it was considered bridge page.

Diet Solution is one for sure slapped at google. Got one of my accounts canned for setting up a stupid test for it.

Probably a number of other weightloss products as well.

See what fatloss for idiots owner did with his website, it's not like bridge page to payment processor. Do the same:)

Clickbank products are notorious for the 100 page scroll down long sales letter, with little to no images. 95% of the websites are absolute crap, your 15 yr old little bro could do a better job setting something up. The problem with CB is they allow almost anyone to become a publisher, the barrier to entry is really low so you get alot of shit that you have to sift through.

But the other 5% can be absolute gems. WF can be so narrow minded in terms of ebook CPS, but those who have their heads out of their asses are making serious bank off CB. Those who can't market past the free-trial rebill offers will never make money off CB.

CB sucks for 2 reasons:

1. The shit products
2. The millions of non-speaking English ppl (pointing finger at India and third-world Asian countries) directly competing with you with their spam

Not being racist. But if you want to make a few bucks as an aff, CB is fine. Owning a good product is where the real money's at.

I used to do $1200-1500/day in sales with $800-1200/day ad spend pushing CB e-books. Didn't scale past that as I dropped all those projects the day I received an e-mail from G telling me to fuck off with the car on water sales pages. (I think it was around August 2008). That was the last straw for me as far as daily hustle goes and I picked a different business model.

Actually, now that I think about it, the reason I found this board was because G's content network was overrun with people pushing acai with "1 rule of flat stomach" ad headlines they stole from one of the CB vendors and adapted it to berries.

And since the payouts were better for acai, berry ads pushed down CB ads all across the board.

I was making a decent coin with that product, but it all collapsed because of the berry fuckers. Maybe that was the last straw, not the water thing.

In any case, my main "projects" were for vendors selling: car on water, acne with apples shit, warcraft gold/grinding/whatever, make money testing video games, tattoos, getting girls.

I also tried some hypnosis products, but couldn't make it work.

If you have enough bank (or can get enough credit) to cover 3 weeks from the first sale till CB payment, then you should be fine. Otherwise, don't bother with it. If you choose to look for that "one great-converting sales page" by sending a few clicks to one vendor at a time, it will take you years to find something worth promoting.

And if you take a shotgun approach, then you'll need a lot of money. When G starts charging your card 2-3 times per day, every fucking business day, shit gets real really fast.

But it's by all means doable, if you like to hustle.

Contrary to what most people think, the trick is not in targeting or relevancy, it's all about... ah fuck it, I won't mention it here. Maybe one day, I'll decide to get back into it.

Your answer still doesn't make sense. If people on WF have so much distaste for CB due to CB having "more shit than value", then you'd see the same people expressing EVEN MORE distaste for CPA networks, because CPA networks have EVEN MORE shit than value. But you actually don't see people here expressing so much distaste for CPA networks.

I've already stated this, but it's well known that WF hates get rich quick ebooks that pack tons of outdated and freely available information into a pdf then sells it to noobs with high hopes for $99+

So again, that is why WF sometimes looks down on clickbank (and digitalpoint, and warriorforum).

Come On! Generally speaking, ethical and cool have nothing! to do with this business. And I'm pretty sure no one here thinks acai berry is ethical or cool for that matter. What's cool is making money.

Clickbank is a good way to make money(If your a vendor), and a good one for beginners to learn marketing.

Overall the reason why clickbank is laughed at so much, is seen mostly as a newbie network. And the second reason is because it's so easy to start your own product on clickbank, which makes almost 99% of the offers junk. I started promoting with clickbank, and did some good numbers, but after that I just signed up for a vendor account, and started promoting my own product. Don't get me wrong, if i found a clickbank product that made money I would without a doubt try it.

Bottomline: Conversions is King, and most(95%) clickbank products can't hang with CPA conversion wise. Don't get my wrong, straightsale is slowly coming back, and clickbank can come back stronger than ever. I like straightsales, i feel better selling it, its just may end up being the new CPA oneday :)~.

As long as Google/Facebook and others keep cracking down on the scammy stuff, there's going to always be a life for Straightsales and Clickbank.

P.S. Finally It's way easier to make a clickbank vendor account, yes, so there's going to be a lot more junk on clickbank. But you could also argue(not really) there's more niche markets aswell.

Yeah this is basically a CPA thread, not because everyone here likes CPA more here, it's because it's whats making money at this time, and that my friend, is cool.

This times are getting back sooner than you may realise;) or CPA advertiser should learn how to survive longer, I already listed nice lead offers. If you will go to CJ/SAS/LS you will see they also have some portion of CPL programs, even solid 10% :) But you will not find here all that zips, ringtones, free trials, etc.. etc.. guess why:)

Clickbank is great! I cannot find reason why some hates it. If they can’t earn money using clickbank, then maybe they’re not working out well. There’s lot of those who testifies that they really earn from this site. Its not luck of course, but rather hard work! 

I don't have anything against CB actually. Remember I read a thread on another forum about how they are stealing from affiliates but not sure if its true or not.. some weird things happening with my hops here and there but nothing worse

I have had good times with clickbank, and I have had bad times. I have had alot more luck with CPA networks easier money. Autoblog plus CPA equals easy money. :)

I think a lot of people just fail at finding a good product niche matched with a good marketing method to make it work for them, as well as those who have bad experiences with charge backs depending on the product the choose.

Really guys?. Could be for some people who can't move on or expand succesfully. But again it all leads back to what's making the most money. If there's money in a clickbank product, and you don't know how to push it or you won't because you love rebills, then your, hmmmm, stupid.

Maybe, I am speaking for myself, and a few old timers, I started out pushing CPS before there was any CPA, but i don't see how it's that hard to crossover. Maybe I'm wrong(rare), and it's winter making me crazy. :food-smiley-010:

I'm actually noticing ebooks or guides what ever you want to call them. Showing up on CPA networks. Like this one - Robert Allen Multiple Streams of Income. Hope I'm not outing anyone's niche. News landers, splogs used to promote a $99 ebook, then $70, then $39 if you hit the cancel bottom. Its all about conversions. I think were going to be seeing more things like this on the usual CPA networks.
