I couldn't give two fucks about number of posts, or any of my campaigns (grants? lol). I also didn't see anyone arguing that our representatives are doing a good job. But if you think the difference between a democracy and representative government is a technicality, you're beyond help. That was the whole point of the thread - the question was asked why politicians think they have the right to ignore the will (depending on whatever poll you believe) of the people. I simply pointed out that this is not a democracy so our representatives don't have to vote the way we want, and if we don't like it, we can replace them.
You rambling on about how a democracy works just makes you look uneducated since we don't have an actual democracy. Your say (or mine) on an issue doesn't matter. You may not want to believe it, and you certainly don't have to like it, but it is the way our system is set-up. I'm sorry you don't understand the way our government actually works, but I wasn't one of your teachers so don't take it out on me.
