Why does this site suck?

Could someone look over my first-ever affiliate site and tell me why it sucks? I mean it's okay... it does about 100 visitors a day, even after being up for a year. I tried to write meaningful content, though some of it is a bit redundant. And there's really nothing else to say about it, save for news from the monthly newsletter.

I'm now building another site, and it has ZERO traffic thus far. Am I at least on the right track with this one?

Any tips / info would be great. The conversion for the first site is about $150 to $200 a month. Of the people who click to the affiliate, about 8% of them end up making a purchase.

Tnx!

It sucks because you have built one site in one year. You could easily have 10 by now and complain "why all my sites suck" and make me only $2000 a month.

Judging by site number 2 you didn't improve a lot. Work harder on on-page SEO bla bla bla

Work harder

get better / more targeted traffic

split test theme - then do it again

split test offer - then try another

run some paid traffic, see how that converts

check your referers see what type of traffic you ARE getting

When I first started I had a niche blog that I put up - I had an autoblog put up on the backend that started bringing in 10k uniques monthly and I was like wtf why is NOTHING converting. Then I started checking my referers and seeing that people were searching "bobby brown breakup" and "paris hilton scandal" on my fishing rod site. Sheer volume means nothing if you are not targeting.

btw - we really dont do "look at my site tell me what i am doing wrong" here publicly

Tnx!

"Where you failed is not making more sites. Diversify, mofukka."
