how did your super affiliate find time to talk to you? and and why did he do the knowledge transfer?
I assume you mean confidentiality...how can you break confidentiality by disclosing specific numbers if we have no idea who he is in the first place?
how much time does one spend to be called as "Working their ass off" - is it one hour a day or 36 hrs at stretch.
I in one hour do more efficient work than if i sit at 12 hrs at a stretch on computer, coz i end up watching a movie or playing Heroes. For me working for an hour without being logged in on IM's is "working my ass off".

As Johu said you don't need to work that long and hard to make serious bank in this business. One option would be hiring people but you could also just work smarter and more efficiently if you wanted to since managing people is work itself. Most people, even the self employed, are not nearly as productive as they could be and waste too much time on things they should have delegated etc.
Read the book called "4 Hour Workweek" as he seems to have pretty much mastered the art of being extremely productive. Work hard but even more importantly you have to work smart and use the time you spend working on only tasks that increase your revenue and income.

Make your spouse your business partner. That way you have the help you need and you don't have to pay anyone other than yourselves.
I definitely DON'T want to be a super affiliate. I enjoy what I currently do, work like 5 hours a week and make 5-10k per month.

I took a sleeping pill the other night at like midnight and didn't wake up till like 4 the next day! Missed all my classes and felt like shit all day. I later found out I should have taken it at like 7pm
1m in a year revenue really isn't that much. Several people gross that a month.

Really, who gives a shit about the label "super affiliate"? Typically those who brag about being super-affiliates do dick. Those who are super-affiliates don't go around bragging about it.
Worry about being a succesful affiliate, not a super affiliate and you'll probably do a hell of a lot better. I agree with Johu and WayneDog - it's not the number of hours you spend working on this that determines whether you'll be successful or not, it's how you spend those hours. Beyond delegating, you should also be able to measure, analyse and adjust. If you don't have the ability to do those things, your road to success will be tough.

The reason the "super affiliate" spoke to me because he is my mentor and I am not paying him anything that's because I made a site for him back in the day for Free and now he trying to return the favor.
