Why is it so difficult to find info about good adult affiliate programs?

Hi there, gurus!
I've been trying to find good infos, reviews and etc about adult affiliate programs, but it hasn't been easy.Not many forums about it, not many reliable reviews...
So I decided to, once again, consult with my gurus here. Why is that?
Are they too lame or too good for people just don't talk about it?
Can you suggest few CPC, CMP, CPA options? I'm thinking trying a few things on that niche - not with english language though - and I'd really appreciate your wise advices! Are AFF, erosad or adult world worth a shot?

The general ones are dating sites and webcam sites, but you'd better be able to push a shitload of traffic if you want to make any money with them. Livejasmin's affiliate site will show you stats for their top guys and if you figure out how to footprint some of their sites, you'll be amazed at the size of their networks. I've made the most pushing individual sites, most of which pay out $30-45 or you can take a smaller amount and get the money recurring. But for dating sites, I'd say your best bet is to choose a smaller one (fuck AFF) that is niche and then build a site around adult content in that niche. So a BBW pr0n blog using BBWRomance to monetize, or a S&M blog using ALT.com to monetize. But conversion rates in adult are piss-poor... so if you're buying traffic or doing traffic trades, etc... count on needing a ton of traffic.

The main idea is to monetize it with comission from local stores... But a nice affiliate wouldn't hurt...
 
It would behoove you to check out a different forum thats more adult in nature.

If you have a specific niche in mind there are different affiliates that work with everything.

It depends on what kind of traffic you have, you just have to try out what works for you. Some boards and review sites can help but there aren't any straightforward answers.

in late 2009 i had a friend who tried out IM for a total of about 5 minutes. All he did was register for the affiliate program of imlive.com or something similar, created an rss feed with some info from them and submitted it to half a dozen rss sites(?). Forgot about it really fast.

2 months later, he finds a check over $150 in the mail.

Just sayin.
