Sorry, but I have to ask, why was a banned for "spamming". I was under the alias "d4rkzero"

I joined around 2 days ago. I read all the rules too.

I maybe posted 3 or 4 new threads - all on a different topic and all in the noobie questions area.

I need to know because

A) Not make the same mistake
or
B) Freaked out that my account was compromised

-_-

probably because you joined and started a bunch of new threads within a day or two. Try contributing to other people's threads and adding value before leeching off the other members here.

also, this thread was not a good idea as well. you just tied together your account to the banned one. I'm sure you knew that though, right?

I only admitted it because I really didn't feel like I was doing anything wrong. The ban happened right after I chose a promo from click bank and I was worried that somehow a link was posted.

The few threads I made all seemed to have respectful answers. Maybe its just a too new of an account to be making posts?

dunno =/

I hate being a whiny bitch -_-

who knows. you weren't banned by me so i can't say but most likely you were saying something stupid like "nice post" "I'll make sure to apply those methods" "great thread"

Those always annoy me and if you weren't throwing links anywhere or trying to mislead anyone that would be the next most common reason imo. I like to stop the spammers before they start.

PREEMPTIVE BANNING.

Nice post. :p

That's a question I'd like to ask, too

My old account was fericitul and some days ago I found my account banned, reason given "bump team" whats kinda akward. Migt somebody explain me what caused my bahavior to be considered thread bumping and to whose benefit? It will not happen again :)

I never started a thread but took part of a lot service threads, because I just need a lot of services for my 40++ websites.

I'd like to get my old account back as I have a great deal of correspondence in the PM section for relations here on the forum.

Thanks

Thx, I am familiar with the concept of thread bumping and tricking the system. It just wasn't the case. I never had an own thread to bump and didn't bump other threads, I just requested services or information thereof. Is this illegal, too now?

Usually the seller would leave some other form of communication like an email address, or requesting that you PM them.

And no, requesting services is not against forum rules. But if you're "service requests" looked like any way to artificially bump a friend's, or your own post in the BST section, then that's a reason why you may have been banned.

That's a perfect explanetion

Well, I'd prefer not to post at all in those threads as all the "PM me the details please" "I ordered a package" posts are quite bothersome. Then again, after going for a while like this, I found that many providers are much more reliable if you do a public request. Itrader is a good thing, but social awareness and control is even better. And since I bought from a lot of different service providers I can't find a pattern which would have benefited anyone in particular.

However, lesson learned, will not be repeated, starting over :)
