Nothing but racist banter, trolling, banter at the banning of racist banter, bots, bumping old threads, lost 90% of the images due to the banning of imgur, complete retards, and NOTHING USEFUL ABOUT INTERNET MARKETING. It's actually much worse than DP here.

Once Jon started 1-day rebilling grants to broke people he basically said fuck off to this forum.

I think the key here is that those that are still sane start opening threads about advertising/create real discussions and ignore idiotic threads.

too bad 3/4 of those are SEO related (lol) and the other is a link out to a blog post that's nothing more than an instruction manual about how to use pinterest written by some social media expert. Back in '08 we probably would have banned people for posting this garbage.
 
I disagree with the OP. Although, it is funny that he is complaining about banter and trolling and his post has a pic of a bra... Either way, get over it and ignore the crap. There are some BRILLIANT people here, if you work a little to wade through the crap (which I love because it is so entertaining) you might just learn something monumental.

Neil Patel is one of the most highly regarded SEO consultants around, founder of CrazyEgg and Kissmetrics. He's not a social media expert.

And for the record, you were never a good mod, so don't pretend you maintained a standard around here.

I can't find the thread (okay I'm too lazy to search for it) but there was a good thread on linking your Google profile to your web site and get a rich snippet listing on google serps.

I didn't know about it, it was brought to my attention, it was very useful information to know.

Having said that, yeah over the years the shit-to-useful thread ratio seems to be getting higher.

On the other hand, I haven't started any useful nuts-and-bolts threads in a long time, so I'm feeling some guilt over that.

I joined this forum thinking it would be full of good info on how to make PPC money, but there's none of it and the SEO discussion is very subpar compared to other forums. The only worthwile posts are the enlightened member ones.

But it's still fun to hang out with fellow grinding affiliates who understand were you're coming from (getting teary eyed here).

Remeber when I said "the culture is now dictated by SEO service providers," a bunch of guys selling social bookmarking and blog comments aren't going to jump on every idiot who starts a "which is better social bookmark or blog comment" thread or "how many spokes to link wheel" or "best web 2.0 site for backlink" and it's just an endless stream of dipshits that are viewed by the providers as potential customers. The SEO water is so foul I'd throw it out, and baby with it be damned.
