I wanted to get into a quite competitive niche and it's almost impossible to get a keyword rich .com domain now. I'm thinking of getting a .net instead.
So, will it hurt our Quality Score to use a .net or .org domain?
prince are you sure about not being able to find a niche related keyword? use this method I learnt about at 45n5
1. go to google keywords and type in your keyword
2. resort by average search volume
3. export as csv into ms excel
4. go to godaddy.com
5. choose the bulk registration
6. copy and paste the keywords column from your excel spreadsheet
7. choose .com, .net and .info
8. See what you get
A key benefit i've experienced using this method is that I allow google, or actually the users who search for items in that niche name my site for me. Takes all the guesswork out and helps you narrow in on a really good url.
Hmm..I hope so. What about .info then? since people are abusing .info for arbitrage, MFAs, wouldn't google discount the weight of .info domains, thus affecting the QS?
