Wine Drinkers?

lol...I drank wine once, I'll wait til I graduate before I give it another try.

Although, I heard wine makes you horny (not that I need any help there)...so maybe I gotta give the girls this.
 
I love wines. For the reds it's got to be the bold and thick Cabernets (the lighter they get the more bigger the headaches)

For Chardonnay's it depends on my mood. If I plan to drink the bottle in one sitting then it needs to be smooth. But If I'm enjoying with a meal (especially fish) then I like it to be oaky a tad dry and buttery.
 
Australian Reds, Australian Whites, anything from the Hunter Valley, Barossa Valley, Northern, Central and Southern Tablelands.

Usually a 4L Box of Goon though, I'm a bit poor at the moment.

I like red wine (on occasion). I had a pretty bad experience one time at a winery. I don't know what the fuck happened, but I ended cashing a few bottles of some house special blend wine. There was some reunion there at the time I got my wine crunk on at the winery.

After I consumed a ton of wine that evening, I had to shit my fucking brains out and there was only a two person bathroom. This particular bathroom had one urinal and one shitter. Somebody tried following me in there and I had to toss his ass out.

Make a long story short, I ended up doing the biggest walk of shame of my life. There was about 10 people waiting in line to use the bathroom after I got done. I would watch the consumption if you're not used to drinking wine. It must have been the grapes or something that fucked with my stomach, who knows.

Figured my fucked up story would enlighten somebody else who might have the same issues consuming large quantities of wine.

Same here. Cab's are my fav. Here's a few that I've tried recently and really liked.

BevMo! - Montes Cabernet Alpha '07

BevMo! - Norton Cabernet Barrel Select '06

BevMo! - Vichon Merlot-Grenache '08

If you can get Bevmo on their 5 cent sale, you can stock up on some kick ass bottles of wine. I generally don't spend more than $20 on a bottle, at very most, and you will find some nice wines in the $14-$18 range all day long.
 
I love this thread!

I reinvested all my acai monies into a wine bar JV with my father and have since learned so much it's incredible...two of my favorite wines are Justin Isosceles Cabernet and Montes Folly Syrah - below...

If you can be bothered, try tracking down an Australian Pinot from Coldstream Hills Estate in the Yarra Valley. Their premium stuff is about AUD$70 and is my favourite Pinot.


But this is the real shit boys:

I like both red and white usually just having a glass without food ill have white.

NOBILO is one of my favorite whites under $20, TRY IT!
