Hey guys,

I've googled and googled and am stumped.

I want to use WP with the Revolution Media Theme strictly as a CMS for a small casino site. It's just a billboard type site to announce news and upcoming events at the casino. No online gaming or anything.

How can I totally disable the Comments link. I don't want to disallow comments only, I do not even want the comment link to show up on the page. Nor a link to look at comments that only report that "'Comments have been disabled"

It kind of goes against what WP is all about, but hey.

Thx.

OK. I guess I need to find every section of the template that calls posts and delete this code:

Code:
<?php comments_popup_link('Leave a Comment', '1 Comment', '% Comments'); ?>

I think that will give me what I want, and shouldn't take too long.

Actually, that might let me post in 2 or more categories, one category with the articles only and no link to comments, and the other more blog like with comments.

I started out back when with Joomla and I don't like every article to have comments and don't want the clutter of "Disabled Comments" on the page.

Thanks, much, glowleaf.

I've been really enjoying your blog.

Just remove the comments template from single.php and you will be fine. The code to be removed is listed above by omgyams.

That cleaned the template up perfectly. I don't want a link to add comments on a box that just has an article blurb in it. The article hasn't been read yet.

Thanks.
