Anyone know of any decent plugins for WP for selling physical products? I'm not looking for a cart solution per ce...just something to manage product categories / detail pages etc. Ultimately, I'll probably use some other 3rd party solution (e.g. UltraCart) to handle the cart / gateway functionality, but I was wondering if anyone knew of something out there that could handle the front end stuff. I could probably hack something usable, but would prefer to cut down on the development time for this (and other) similar projects. WFReview is in the neighborhood of what I'm looking for, but not exactly. Maybe WP 4 will have posts, pages & products...but I'm not holding my breath :)

I run into clients all the time with a small number of products they need to sell where full blown e-com solutions like Magento are overkill. It would be nice to use Wordpress for these situations combined with a 3rd party cart.

PS> If something like this doesn't exist...could be commercially viable to develop IMHO. Lots of small retailers looking for easy / cheap / robust solutions to peddle their wares on the interwebz. Anyone interested in doing a JV with strong development background feel free to PM.

I'd second a 3rd party cart or something along those lines against a full blown magento/zen cart/oscommerce etc

I set up my shops using Zen mainly because of the extensive features. But in a live situation, im finding alot of the features aren't reliable enough(stock control etc). The time it takes to make small adjustments is huge as well.
