Looking to integrate a forum under a wordpress platform.

An example of what I mean can be found at one of my favorite sites, Lynn Terry's ClickNewz:

ClickNewz! Internet Marketing Blog - Her wordpress site
http://www.clicknewz.com/members/ - Her vbulletin platform

I'm curious how to achieve the consistent header between the two platforms as she has done here. I asked her directly but her work was outsourced.

Can anyone help point me in the right direction for achieving this?

Thanks.

Whoever she outsourced to, didn't do a great work at the vBulletin part. The top navigation is a bit off and the login panel is fugly.

So you get your design for wordpress finalized, you then hit "Style Manager" in your vB admin panel and make the necessary modifications.

It'd be hard to provide you with the actual code without seeing either of your CSS files.

Thanks for the replies.

I'm not really much of a coder. I suppose the trick is not actually embedding the forum into the Wordpress layout, but to just to keep each as individual platforms and manipulate the look to make them seem integrated?

Isn't there an easier way to create a static header that will simply display across everything on the site regardless of the platform?

It's not that easy, you can achieve that - but you'll then have to strip off the existing navigations on both the platforms.

do u know bbpress? they all use that plugins to turn your wordpress into a forum.
