Wordpress Plugin - Is this even Possible?

This is something I've wanted for a long time, but all of my searching hasn't turned up anything of use that already exists to perform this function.

Basically what I need is a form with a few different drop down menus in it and a submit button. Depending on the combination of the variables chosen, the plugin would direct the user to an existing page on the site that has been associated with those variables on the backend.

For instance, let's say it's a laptop site. The three fields might be "new/used", "brand", "model." If the user selected "new", "apple", "macbook pro." After hitting submit, the apple lover would be redirected to the page http://mylaptopsite.com/apple/macbook-pro/new/

In the backend, there would need to be some sort of list where I could associate the different combination of variables with specific pages to tell the plugin which page to send the user to after they make their selections.

My question is, is this possible? Also, is there a much easier way to do this that I am overlooking like a complete moron?

Also, can you do it for me? How much!?

Thank you

Couldn't you just do this with posts and categories/sub-categories and then append each cat/sub-cat $selection to the url?

You can do that with tags and a search. Since there maybe multiple pages about apple macbook like the 17 inch and 15 inch versions. You would tag the pages accordingly and the visitor would search the results and get the 2 pages and pick

I don't think I understand. That's why I need someone to make a plugin for me. lol.

I know I can use tags/search but I don't want the user to have to take that extra step.

Another reason is that let's say the user selects "apple" and "macbook pro" but doesn't select new or used, I want them to land on mylaptopsite.com/apple/macbook-pro which would be a page with information as well as links to the pages for both new and used products, respectively. I wouldn't want them to get a results page with links to all three pages (general macbook pro page, new macbook pros, and used macbook pros).

mattseh made my dreams come true. It works perfectly. I am overjoyed. I have wanted this for so long.
