Wordpress Review Plug in or Theme

I had bought wpreviewengine a long time ago from a member here.

I loved it. I made money with it. In fact, I still have an old blog that pulls in a few dollars using that theme/plugin.

Anyways.

I'm looking for a new theme/plug in to use.


I've looked around, and many themes support reviews, and comparizons, but most don't do a good job at optimizing it from an affiliate perspective. Not without customizing.

I mean, the 'visit site/product' button isn't prominently featured by default... or even showing for the most part. On side bar widgets you only get thumbnail + Name + Link to review, never any link to affiliate offer directly from sidebar.

I know I could jerry-rig this to work, but I'd like something out of the box, so when there are wordpress updates I won't be pulling my hair out (the plug in or theme seller will have that job)


So far, the only one that I found that matches my requirements is from flytonic.


Does anyone have any suggestions?

I doesn't have to be a theme, I'd actually prefer a plug in, but the main point is that it has to be well optimized for making comparison tables and including such tables on side bars WITH affiliate links prominently displayed in some form.
 


I started a similar thread a few months ago. I couldn't find anything as good as wpreviewengine, so I started building my review sites manually using plugins like TablePress and Rich Snippets.

If you're lucky to still have wpreview engine and you've made money with it, why don't you just keep using it?

I have a copy and license, but it is in use. And even then, it isn't practical to use anymore, since the fucker keeps trying to verify license with original site which is gone, making it impossible to log in to admin.

Also, that thing was built a long time ago, and no updates since, I won't want to use it on a new project I'm working on. I'll leave it on my old site, but not for new ones.

I was leaning toward the table press idea + some rich snippets plug in, but I just hate the idea of having so many different working parts together. I've had bad experiences with that in the past (I upgrade plugins/themes and things go wrong)
