working on christmas eve

Did that for a few years in the restaurant sector, it sucked. GTO of there... unless it's stripping.
 
Ahh, that's shit ^^.

I've got xmas eve as I booked it off, time to work on my empire.

I've got barely any time off though it's a bit shit but I just see it as an incentive to work harder on my own projects. I'm going to free myself of the rat race if it's the last thing I do.

Merry Christmas dude - it ain't all that. I've spent alot of them on the road in a hotel room - it's amazing how rich it can be hanging with strangers. I'm serious - at least 5 Xmas's on the road over the years and always a great time - I get cards from some of these "strangers" I've met along the way well before my own family.
 
yep I will be working on Xmas eve too, but only 1/2 day. Probaly waste a little time on here... Also here in Hawaii, Oahu's south shore. Where you at tyler?

True statement - I had a better time deployed for Christmas than the one I had with my family. At least having Christmas with my co-workers they respect my personal space unlike my family.

Plus I have better stories to tell from the ones spent overseas. Like camel riding on Christmas day 2004 in Afghanistan or wearing a santa's hat for a solid WEEK in uniform in 2005 and nobody saying shit because one of the colonels was doing it too. Much better stories than whatever random shit I did last year with family.

Waikiki man. I'm so sick of working on holidays. I'm quitting on the 30th because I refuse to work on another New Year's Day again. From now on it's IM for me

I worked at the Hard Rock in Waiks on New Years Day years back, God that sucked. Two bright spots were: the shot we had to start the shift, and the slutty girl who ate lunch with severly bruised knees. Wonder how she got such bruises?:xmas-smiley-016:
