Workout question - add muscle or lose weight first?

do medium weight and rep deadlifts, squats, chin ups, bench press, push ups, sit ups etc + lots of cardio, avoid exercises like curls or skullcrushers that only target 1 muscle group.

for diet only eat whole foods, nothing prepackaged or processed. drink 4L+ water per day and you should lose weight real fast

There's a similar more "proven" method which is called 5x5 workout, not saying this doesn't work, but that's a lot of time for one workout you know.
i did 5x5 for a long time and have found this produces faster results. and no, 9 sets of 3 reps does not take a long time.

btw my current stats are: 335 max bench, 585 deadlift, 475 (ass to grass) squat

all these supplements people are talking are bullshit too. just eat a lot meat and protein. i'm bout to go get a slab of ribs and some beer as i type this.

Actually it's not impossible if you are a beginner.

you might cut fat and increase the amount of blood flow to your muscle giving the appearance of building muscle as a beginner. But building muscle tissue with a calorie deficit (which is required to lose fat) is physiologically impossible.

+1 to adding muscle first. Why do you think pro bodybuilders have off seasons where they pig the fuck out?

HAHAHA are you serious? Educate myself about what exactly?
You can burn fat and build muscle at the same time..fuck science..I'm talking from personal experience and many others that have tried my training routine.
I'm 100% positive that if you tried my training routine you have the best body your genetics has to offer.

I have managed to build muscle while running 60 miles a week, with only about 3 small meals a day. But I guess that is impossible as well huh?

^^THIS!!^^

Trying to get advice here is probably not a good idea. You're going to get conflicting advice from every pro bodybuilder in the forum, and from the looks of this thread, it seems like there are quite a few here.

Go talk to the guys at anabolicminds.com.

post your clickbank link bro

Why would I post a clickbank link..
If anything I would just say to anyone who is serious about working out look into the workout program Serge Nubret used to follow. I'll try to find the link if I can dig it up from one of the bodybuilding.com forums.

i love threads like this. they are always full of fail. i guess that's why only 2% of lifters reach elite status. because 98% are fucking morons.
